the whole family went to the star city after the holidays. we waited for holiday fever to wean down for a more subtle crowd at the star city. we won't be able to withstand the plethora of people (as seen on tv), not to mention the kids getting squashed!, if we did go there during the holidays.
picking january 10 was just perfect. the theme park was still fairly crowded, a max of 30mins to wait in line for a ride still was normal.
there are several new amusement rides & game booths & frankly, i think star city's growing more modern (& safer hopefully) every year which is cool.
after paying tickets for everybody, my daughter couldn't hold her excitement she grabbed every toy she saw at the shopping stalls & played for several minutes, probably unaware of what really was in store for her at the star city. when we went inside the main of the carnival, she got all the more delighted.

for a ride-all-you-can ticket pass, one can use about a minimum of 5 rides if you start late in the afternoon due to the long lines. it was perfectly fine since the kids got tired easily due to the walking & waiting. we got home after midnight.
