grave (yard) thoughts

i'm in the graveyard shift, hence the title ahehe. i forgot to brag about rye's fabulous adobe photoshop design of our daughter's photos. it's a cascade of rayne's funniest & cutest snapshots.

notice how everything else but rayne is in black & white?

great job darling!

before i go home, i really want to share this. i've seen the movie 'crash' about a month ago. it was one of the best movies i've seen since American History X. it speaks bluntly about racism & how it was delivered was amazing! don't get mistaken by the title. it's about A Brentwood housewife and her DA husband. A Persian store owner. Two police detectives who are also lovers. An African-American television director and his wife. A Mexican locksmith. Two car-jackers. A rookie cop. A middle-aged Korean couple... They all live in Los Angeles. And during the next 36 hours, they will all collide...

... it will definitely make you cry, especially by the ending. the first lines immediately made my jaw drop. there was total silence when i watched this movie (in DVD). it sent chills down my spine, my heart kept pounding & every scene were so unpredictable. the cast ensemble was extraordinary, all the actors play lead. sandra bullock & the rest's acting diversity were so refined you'll love it! another thing that caught my attention was the heart-rending soundtrack. i have here a sample audio of the song 'in the deep' by the 'bird york'. this song made me burst in tears mixed together with the sensational scenes.
